The euro area's trade surplus quintupled in April, to 10.9 billion



The euro area's trade surplus in April stood at 10.9 billion euros, almost five times more than the figures recorded in the previous month, according to data published by Eurostat.

Exports of goods from the euro area to the rest of the world have risen specifically by 43.2% and imports have risen by 37.4%.
