"Warren Buffett owns 1 BTC and over 1 million TRX"

Justin Sun, the founder of the popular cryptocurrency platform Tron, reported through a tweet in the early hours of today, January 4, 2021, that against widespread belief, billionaire Warren Buffett owns some cryptocurrency assets. In his tweet, Mr. Sun says that Warren owns one Bitcoin and over a million Tron (TRX) tokens.

Warren Buffett is not a Nocoiner, says Justin Sun

Justin Sun, contrary to popular belief, reported that the famous CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, an American investor and business mogul, "technically" owns some cryptocurrencies: 1 bitcoin and one million TRX tokens.

This comes as a surprise as the media has portrayed Warren Buffett as someone who is not interested in Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency any time soon.

In early 2020, Buffett, the Oracle of Omaha, as he is often known, reaffirmed that he does not own crypto at all and never will, as he told CNBC's Becky Quick in the Squawk Box interview. Their reason is that cryptocurrencies have no value and they do not produce anything.

Buffett also once called Bitcoin "Rat poison." In his words, he said that Bitcoin is "Probably rat poison squared."

Sun had implied which gave Buffett a pair of Samsung Galaxy fold loaded with slightly more than one bitcoin, as he shares the Bitcoin address: 3AsXDKX1etLgegepVeJbhj7WeZiypVMgdt, along with 1,930,830 TRX tokens, which He says which is equivalent to his birthday. Buffett, who is said to have joked that "I wished I was born later so I could receive more tokens", has since denied holding cryptocurrencies.

However, in light of this, Justin Sun informs the trolls that Warren Buffett is out for a walk while they "They have fun being poor."

As one commenter noted, TRX tokens have risen since the billionaire received the TRX tokens.

As of February 6, 2020, Justin Sun announced that he had gifted Warren Buffett around 2 million TRX tokens. TRX was priced as high as $ 0.023 per TRX token, with a value of around $ 45,000 at the time. Today, TRX is priced at $ 0.029 per token, making Warren Buffett worth $ 55,994.07 in TRX tokens, an increase of 24.43%.

On the other hand, a bitcoin in roughly the same period cost around $ 10,000, which now costs $ 32,095 as of this writing.

However, another commenter by the username @mcpauld believes that Justin Sun's tweet was a marketing ploy, calling him a marketer. He also says that Justin Sun could have made better use of the 1 million Tron tokens given to Buffett.
