The vaccine against Covid-19 will cross the Spanish borders next Saturday, December 26 and will arrive in Guadalajara escorted by security forces. It is expected that the new doses will be received every Monday of the next few months, doses that are loaded with secrecy, the autonomous communities have not revealed where they will store them.
There are only three days left until the most anticipated vaccination campaign begins since we can remember and very little data is known. So far not much is known beyond that it will start in Guadalajara. The CCAA is taking refuge in secrecy in order to avoid any incident, such as theft or cyber attacks.
In fact, Aragon has been one of the few territories that has announced where the Pfizer doses will be stored. The chosen place are the freezers of the Hospital Clínico de Zaragoza. The storage place has once again raised the controversy in the Community of Madrid.
As InfoLibre has advanced, the Madrid president, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, has hired a company to store the vaccines. This would not be controversial if it were not for the fact that the pandemic hospital has been offered as a central warehouse on several occasions.
The Ministry of Health together with the Ministry of the Interior have been in charge of managing the security that will accompany the trucks that transport the doses, as well as their storage. Each week, the National Police and the Civil Guard, with the cooperation also of the Ertzaintza, the Mossos d'Esquadra and the Navarra Foral Police, will be in charge of monitoring the safety of the vaccine.
