This Thursday the victory of Joe Biden has been confirmed in the state of Georgia, southeastern United States, with 49.5% of the votes.
Biden seizes the state of Georgia winning the presidential elections with the manual recount that barely varied the results. Donald Trump, still president of the United States, got the 49.3% of the votes, while Biden, managed to obtain 49.5%; according to the Georgia Secretary of State.
The difference between the two is only 12,284 votes. Biden has become the first Democrat to win in Georgia since 1992 under Bill Clinton.
Trump has brought more than nine demands in federal court in Atlanta with the aim of delaying the certification of the results. However, the electoral law allows the Trump campaign request a count as the difference in votes is less than 0.5%.
