Latin American Fintech will participate in “LIF 2020” in response to the coronavirus crisis


He Development Bank of Latin America (CAF), organizes the second edition of the “LIF 2020 Financial Inclusion Laboratory”To be presented on December 9, 2020, in order to provide solutions technological to the crisis generated by Covid-19.

The “LIF 2020” promises to bring together more than 40 private banking entities, public organizations and associations in the same space fintech of Latin America, for its inclusion in the financial sector and in this way respond to the needs of the public and private sectors in the face of the crisis generated by the coronavirus, as reported by his official portal.

Among the firms that will support the project are the ALLVP Venture Partners, New Ventures, Adobe Capital, Dalus Capital, Angel Ventures, Bamboo Capital Partners (BCP) funds; regional partners UNDP Accelerator Lab, Felaban, Red Iberoamericana de Mujeres en Fintech.

They will receive proposals until November 8

Until November 8, 2020, CAF will receive applications from Latin American banks and fintech associations to participate in the “LIF 2020”.

Top 11 fintech winners from Latin America and the Caribbean will participate in the Endeavor, Seedstars or Ventures Accelerator by Google for Startups acceleration programs, which will begin in January 2021 and will last for 3 months, depending on reported CAF.

All participating associations will have the possibility of entering into a financing round from the main private banks and investment funds in Latin America and the Caribbean.
