Unemployment in the US falls to 7.9% but fewer jobs are created than expected



One of lime and one of sand with the US unemployment data. The unemployment rate fell to 7.9% in September, below the 8.2% forecast, but fewer jobs were created than expected. Specifically, the US economy has added 661,000 non-farm payrolls, far from the 800,000 expected.
