Mas announces that he will stay in PDeCAT but that he will not return to the political front line


The former president of the Generalitat, Artur Mas, has communicated this Monday that does not leave PDeCAT because he does not want to join "in a project that could lead to separation", referring to the new party promoted by former president Carles Puigdemont, but he added that will not return to the front line.

"After 30 years of working on projects that always looked for the sum and integration, and they achieved it, I cannot finish my political career in a project that can lead to separation", has declared in a press conference.

Likewise, Mas has clarified that he will not return to the political front line despite remaining in the PDeCAT, and despite having exceeded the period of disqualification for promote the consultation of November 9, 2014.

A few days ago, the PDECat leadership announced the decision to take to court the appropriation, by the Puigdemont environment, of the JxCat brand with a demand.
