Tomorrow begins the return to school in the Community of Madrid. A return to class that occurs at a delicate moment, it is one of the territories most affected by the coronavirus day after day. This has led President Isabel Díaz Ayuso to issue an institutional statement with which she has sought to reassure parents.
"We do not send students to a place of risk, schools are safe places," explained the president. Back to school in Madrid it will be produced in a staggered manner to maintain the safety of teachers and students themselves. This is why Ayuso has asked families not to be afraid because "education cannot stop".
"It would be a tremendous damage if we closed the schools and institutes because that time would be difficult to recover in the lives of our students. Education is essential," he defended.
Ayuso has taken advantage of the institutional message to recall some of the measures that his government has taken in recent weeks. "We have lowered the ratios of the classrooms, the centers are organized to monitor entrances and exits, we will constantly carry out serological tests and follow-ups, the classrooms are going to be thoroughly disinfected every day and we are using new spaces to avoid crowds ", he has detailed.
