The Ministry of Health has notified 241 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, more than a hundred of them have occurred between Aragon (59) and Catalonia (52).
In addition, five new deceased have been reported, bringing the total to 28,401 people. In the last seven days the death toll has risen to 10.
Currently, the virus transmission rate, which is calculated with the infections per hundred thousand inhabitants in the last two weeks, stands at 10.32, the highest level since June 12. The regions with the most infections per inhabitant are Aragon, with a rate of 36.31, and Catalonia, with 28.55.
In the last week, 150 patients with Covid-19 have been admitted to Spanish hospitals, the bulk of them in Madrid (39), Castilla-La Mancha (25) and Andalusia (16). At this same time ten people have died from coronavirus, four of them in Castilla y León and three in Madrid. The rest have been produced in Andalusia (2) and Aragón (1).
