Bitcoin fundamentals have reached major new highs regarding new wallets and BTC transactions


Glassnode analysis company has reported that the number of new BTC wallets has increased to a new all-time high.

The same can be said about the number of Bitcoin transactions in the last 24 hours, according to recent data revealed by the company.

The number of active BTC addresses reaches the maximum of 1 year

According to Glassnode, a company that works on cryptocurrency data, Bitcoin’s fundamentals have improved, reaching some important new highs regarding BTC wallets and the number of recent transactions.

A short time ago, the number of active BTC addresses hit a one-year high, totaling 60,379,667, compared to 59,627,458, as of June 11 this year.

The number of new BTC addresses it has also skyrocketed to a maximum of two years. Currently, it amounts to 22,390,500, while on June 26 of last year, the maximum in two years was 22,387,083.

The number of Bitcoin transactions increased by 30.3% in the last 24 hours

According to data published by Glassnode, the number of BTC transactions made in the last twenty-four hours has increased by 30.3%, totaling 15,865,375.

The overall statistics regarding BTC transactions now also total 15,865,375, which is a maximum of ten months compared to the previous reading of February 14, 2020.

More than $ 1 billion in Bitcoin moved

The aforementioned data agrees with what some analysts have been saying recently about the growing interest of institutional investors in Bitcoin-related products.

The Grayscale company is a good example of this.

Crypto whales have also become more active this year. Earlier this week, two transactions were made with staggering amounts of BTC (worth around $ 900 million and $ 200 million).

The largest, worth $ 900 million, is believed to have been started by the owner of one of the richest BTC wallets.
