Sacyr Concesiones, through the Unión Vial Río Pamplonita concession, has financially closed the concession for the Pamplona-Cúcuta dual carriageway project in Colombia for 520 million dollars (474 million euros). In financing Eight international financial institutions and one Colombian have participated: JP Morgan Chase Bank, FDN (Financial Development National), Deutsche Bank AG, ICBC (Industrial and Commercial Bank of China), Bank of China, ICO (Institute of Official Credit of Spain), MetLife, MUFG Bank and Société Générale.
With this operation, Sacyr Concesiones closes the financing of its four 4G projects in Colombia for more than 2,000 million dollars (1,820 million euros).
The closure guarantees the required investment to execute this 62-kilometer-long road project, located in the North of Santander. Currently, the project is under construction, with an advance of more than 14%. Interventions are being carried out on 60 work fronts that generate 2,224 jobs, direct and indirect, of which more than 70% belong to the region.
The dealer also has carried out more than 90 socio-environmental activities and training and commercial promotion that have directly and indirectly benefited more than 2,400 people.
