XRP is now among the cryptocurrencies with which you can buy gift cards and use them on Amazon, thanks to the BitPay payment provider.
Ripple continues to expand the scale of the use of XRP. Now, the BitPay cryptocurrency payment service, which offers its customers a wallet and gift cards that can be purchased in several currencies, has allowed Amazon cards to be purchased with XRP. This was after BitPay partnered with Ripple for the use of Xpring in October last year.
Co-founder of Casheer Inc and a member of the Michigan Peace and Freedom Coalition, Tiffany Hayden reported the news on Twitter over the weekend. This was retweeted by BitPay co-founder Tony Gallippi.

In October of last year, BitPay announced its partnership with Ripple's investment subdivision, Xpring. At that time, XRP was added to the list of digital currencies that BitPay works with.
However, now, it has been reported that starting next week, the company will start selling gift cards (which can be used on Amazon) that can be paid with the third largest cryptocurrency on the market, XRP.
This is another step that Ripple has recently taken towards the massive adoption of the XRP currency. However, the news does not seem to affect the price of this asset in any way, as it remains below $ 0.24.
