According to the politician, a shot was made at the citizens' office of Karamba Diaby, SPD member of the Bundestag in Halle. Diaby posted a photo on Twitter showing three bullet holes in the window of his office. The office is located on Kleine Ulrichstrasse in Halle.
Police and state officials are investigating, a spokesman told the MDR. The police have not found projectiles.
"Bullet holes were noticed at my civic office on Wednesday morning. An office window with my portrait shows several bullet holes," Diaby writes on Twitter. He also told the MDR that the background was not yet clear. "That's why I can't comment on it yet."
According to the MDR, the employees were shocked, especially since the bullet holes can be found at head height of a person sitting at a desk. The attack happened between 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday and 9 a.m. on Wednesday. A Diaby employee told the dpa news agency: "We have
